The State Museum covers 5 floors connected by a lift (75x99x120) with a raised Braille button panel, which is at a maximum height of 121cm from the ground, and an acoustic and visual signal upon arrival at each floor.
The Museum is on Piazzetta Titano and there is a stone ramp (86x253) with a 15% slope to reach the entrance.
The wide main entrance, with a 79cm wide hinged door has a 2cm high threshold.
On the ground floor is the ticket office, with a 95cm high counter and seats to wait, a coat rack free of charge and 4 exhibition rooms with wide spaces. At the ticket office you can pay only cash.
On the first and second floor there are wide expositive rooms with unimpeded ways. On the first floor there is also a room for video presentations furnished with 5 seats.
On the basement floor (-1) there are other exhibition rooms, one of which is specific for numismatics. To gain access to the latter there are 5 steps of 17cm each.
On the basement floor (-2) there is a room for temporary exhibitions and small conferences, and an accessible toilet. The floor-mounted WC is 53cm high with front or right access and handrails on both sides. The washbasin is suspended and the mirror is reclining. The toilet is not signposted with a suitable sticker on the door and is placed on the left at the exit of the lift.
Pets are not allowed, except for guide dogs for blind people.
